New Year at Park Hyatt Hamburg

              

Eigentlich entstanden diese Bilder am 31.12. und sollten ein letzter Post für 2018 darstellen aber da man die Pailletten auf meinem sonst so guten Silvester-Top auf dem Bild gar nicht erkennt wird der Post halt umfunktioniert. ;)

Genau so wie dieser Blog, er soll zwar immer noch für schöne Momente und Erfahrungen stehen, wird aber von nun an auf Deutsch geschrieben. Der Anstoß kam eigentlich von einer Freundin und wird jetzt nach Überlegen doch umgesetzt, also vielen Dank dafür!

Außerem steht das Grün des Sessels so schön für Hoffnung, was ja zum Beginn des Neuen passt und hoffentlich nicht zu abgedroschen klingt.

 Die Location war in diesem Fall das Park Hyatt in Hamburg, im Herzen mein zweites Zuhause durch Erinnerungen und private Gründe. Ein wenig versteckt im Levantehaus und gerade deswegen so gemütlich.

Meine Familie und ich waren mal wieder zum Kaffeetrinken dort, eine alte Tradition die wieder aufgegriffen wurde. Das ist immer schön um das Jahr (und die Weihnachtszeit) noch einmal ausklingen zu lassen. Ursprünglich wollten wir in's Vier Jahreszeiten an der Alster aber da war leider kein Platz mehr, kam allerdings auch nicht so überraschend. 

Heute waren wir zu Opas Geburtstagsessen im 25 Hours Hotel in der Hafencity, wozu wir letztes Jahr im Carl's neben der Elbphilharmonie waren. 

In diesem Sinne: einen wundervollen Start ins neue Jahr!

Tan Poloshirt at Hyatt Regency - Thailand Part One

Arriving at the Hyatt Regency Hotel Hua Hin in Thailand after quite some time (it's been three years!) and traveling was a bit like coming home. Knowing the area and even recognising some staff leaves a warming feeling but exploring the landmarks and scenery which were added during the years makes it exciting at the same time. 

We were roaming through the resort like we always do and even found matching flowers which is probably the reason why this first outfit post developed.

I accessorized with my gold and silver jewellery since the hotel and my shirt both have the one and the other. What I particularly like about my top is not only the hardware like buttons and pins but also the beautifully detailed emblem with little white pearls. And you can never go wrong with the classic Converse.

The red doors and walls actually belong to The Barai, the Spa at the hotel, which also provides a few suites. They all have their own jacuzzi and terrace, some of them overlook the sea and beach.

But not only the exterior was beautiful and calming, the exotic plants somehow made it enchanted. And the mosaic flower resembles either a frangipani (the same flower like the one in my hair) or the blossom of a Mangosteen, one of my new favourite fruits.

This was just the first of many beautiful days, therefore stay tuned for more posts, not only from Hua Hin but as well from Bangkok!
